Position description:
Our Translation Service Department is looking for fulltime and partime translators to cover the language pair of English – Korean. You may choose from the following areas of expertise: Legal, Medical, Finance, Corporate, Game, Marketing, Engineering, Technical and Infrastructure, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Translate documents from English to Korean and vice versa.
- Work with Production Lead or Project Manager to respond to Clients’ queries and feedback.
Must-have criteria:
- Native Korean or English speaker.
- Bachelor degree with Korean or English as the major of study.
- For native Korean: CEFR Level C1 English qualification or above, or equivalent.
- For native English: Topik II Level 5 Korean qualification or above, or equivalent.
- 5 years of translation experience.
Good-to-have criteria:
- Profiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, word, PowerPoint).
- Profiency in CAT Tools (Trados, Memsource, etc.).
Personal qualities:
- Have a high sense of responsibility and commitment.
- Be open to constructive discussions and straightforward communication.
- Be eager to acquire new knowledge and skills.
